Ann M. Leibold, MD

Ann M. LeiboldDr. Leibold received her Medical Doctorate with honors from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1985. She trained for 3 years in Pediatrics and for an additional 3 years in Dermatology at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. She became board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics in 1989 and achieved board certification and Fellowship in the American Academy of Dermatology in 1993.
After completing her medical training, she served in the Army at Ft. Hood, Texas, Darnell Army Community Hospital first as a general Pediatrician and subsequently, as the Chief of the Dermatology Service. During this period she also had an appointment at Texas A&M Medical Center as a Clinical Assistant Professor instructing medical students and medical residents in both Pediatrics and Dermatology.
After honorable discharge from the military, Dr. Leibold took a teaching position at Washington University School of Medicine, in St. Louis, Missouri. As an Assistant Professor she treated the complex patients referred to the university and provided education to medical students and dermatology residents.
In 2001, she moved to Denver and has enjoyed practicing general, surgical, pediatric and cosmetic dermatology in a private practice setting. She re-certified in Dermatology in 2003 and 2013, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Leibold has given medical presentations at the national level at the American Academy of Dermatology meetings and has authored several medical publications.
She enjoys skiing, golfing, hiking and travelling with her two children and her husband, Dr. Robert Leibold.
